Pedestrians and public transportation oriented campus
The New Campus gives priority to pedestrians in order to create a safe and comfortable community and for this reason, the prioritized "Campus Mall" and "S Curved Avenue" becomes its framework. On the other hand, the service roads are constructed specially as automobiles paths; therefore, a clear and separate traffic system will operate on campus between cars and pedestrians.
In addition, as a possibility for reducing the automobile traffic on the campus, a parking lot will be arranged in the vicinity of gates. After the subway East-West Line opens, the number of parking space is to be controlled to a minimum and a strategic promotion program for public transportation(installing a parking lot charged, operating a university bus and the introduction of discount passes etc.) is now being examined.
