[Katahira Campus] Extended Education & Research Building opens

In the Katahira campus located in the Sendai downtown area, the Extended Education & Research Building opens as the place that presented the extension education.
The building located on an axis from the main gate (a site between （access map the 21st and the 30th) and the bush clover-logo mark is set as an eye-stop from main gate. The design emphasized the lengthwise direction using the scratch tile same as landmark architectures of the Katahira campus.
Professional Graduate Schools use this building mainly, and in future the entrance hall in the first floor will be used as the public information space of Tohoku university.
